Remember the Reason for the Season…

I want to wish all of my customers, fans, friends, and family a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

As a small business owner, I catch myself jumping at each and every opportunity to sell and/or market my artisan work. Using holidays and special occasions to help market wares is of course something we all do  –

I just want to remind us all to take a step back from busy, hectic, stressful, noisy, party life right now, and think about WHY we have Christmas to celebrate…

Does Jesus mean anything to you? Do you accept that He was born at all? Do you view His birth as something worthy of celebration, or was it just another birth?

Is it just me, or do you struggle with the fact that though Christians are celebrating Christ’s birth, they put up santas and other things that don’t relate at all to His birth? Don’t get me wrong – I love the decorations, festivities, etc that we have come to know Christmas by, but I feel like we have somehow gotten off the straight and narrow here…

I personally celebrate the fact that Jesus was born, He is God’s Son, and He died and rose again, providing and giving freely eternal life to all who will accept His most precious gift. Celebrate with me Jesus’ life!!!
